Beth Wilson, Executive Assistant (contact)

Beth joined the Michigan Asphalt Paving Association in 2000 and made the transition to The Asphalt Pavement Association of Michigan in 2005.  Beth is responsible for all accounting procedures, organizing association meetings and events as well as general oversight of office related and membership issues.  Beth holds an Associate Degree in Business Management.  Before joining the association she worked for Michigan State University in Contract and Grant Administration along with various other positions.  



Chuck Mills, P.E., Director of Engineering (contact)

Chuck joined the Asphalt Pavement Association in 2005 as the Director of Engineering.  Chuck works closely with MDOT, other public and private pavement owners and APAM members to provide high quality asphalt pavements. Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.  He brings to the Association many years of diversified engineering and construction experience. Prior to joining APAM, Mr. Mills served jointly as Director of Technical Services for the Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA) and the Michigan Pavement Association (MPA).



Brett Stanton, P.E., Executive Director (contact)

Brett joined the Asphalt Pavement Association as the new Executive Director in April of 2020. At APAM, Brett is responsible with the overall operation of the Association and it's activities. Before joining the Association, Brett worked for two different Midwest paver-producers. During his time at these companies, he managed several areas including special projects, business development as well as leading both a Technical Services and a Civil Engineering Department responsible for supporting many different asphalt plants, paving operations, asphalt terminals and civil construction projects across several different states. Brett graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor's and Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.
