In addition the events listed above, APAM has several reoccurring events it hosts each year. A list of those events is provided below.
 

APAM Annual Conference

Each year APAM hosts an Annual Paving conference. Highlights include; technical sessions, MDOT update, vendor exhibits and networking to name a few. The Annual Paving Conference typically takes place in late February or early March at locations throughout the state.



APAM Annual Golf Scholarship Outing

APAM hosts an Annual Golf Outing to raise money for it's scholarship program to help ensure the future of the asphalt industry and that of asphalt as America‘s leading choice in paving materials. Teams compete for prizes and bragging rights, all to benefit this wonderful cause. The outing is traditionally held in early August. 2024 date Thursday, August 8, location Hawk Hollow Golf Course 15101 Chandler Rd., Bath Twp. MI.

APAM Annual Awards Ceremony & Banquet

Each year APAM gathers around the holidays for a member meeting and an awards ceremony to celebrate all of the award winning paving projects for the year. APAM, in cooperation with MDOT, judge each project and awards are given to the top projects in each category. Members, owners, local and county agency's along with many others get together for a night of fun and networking with peers. 



APAM Sporting Clay Shooting Event

Every fall APAM members and friends gather for some fun and bragging rights for the best shooting team.  Teams travel from station to station and compete for the best score of the day. The shooting fun is followed up by a lunch where door prizes are raffled and the winning team is crowned.  This is a great opportunity to network with other members or if you are interested in becoming an APAM member, you can hang out with the group and get to know who APAM is.
