APAM FSU Training Facility Dedicated

After a 2-year delay due to Covid, FSU, President Eisler, provided the welcome and introduction at the APAM Training Facility, Klett Family Laboratory and Starr D. Kohn PhD Classroom on 03/25/2022 on the Ferris State University campus.  The APAM Training Facility is recognized as the preeminent source for training and certification in Michigan, including training for hot mix asphalt, soil density, and aggregate and materials testing as pertaining to the requirements for inspectors set forth by the State of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Opened in 2020, the facility trains over 200 students each year with students representing companies and agencies from across Michigan. This facility ensures that our growing industry remains supplied with highly trained inspectors and technicians both in the field and laboratory. This facility is made possible by many industry and individual donations. For more questions about the training facility, please contact APAM or Ferris State University.”
