Asphalt producers can reduce the already low carbon footprint of asphalt pavements by using reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles (RAS), and warm-mix asphalt (WMA). NAPA has enhanced its online Greenhouse Gas Calculator to help quantify CO2 credits for the use of RAP, RAS, and WMA.
The new version also supports more data inputs, such as different fuels for various pieces of equipment.
