Scholarship Golf Outing - Right Around the Corner
The 5th Annual APAM Scholarship Fund Golf Outing is Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Bucks Run Golf Club in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. This is a 4-person best ball scramble, shot gun start at 9:00 am. We are in need of Sponsorship! Please see the flyer for complete details. This is a great opportunity to support the scholarship program and it is enjoyed by all who attend. All proceeds are used for scholarships that are handed out at the Awards Banquet in December. Golf Outing Flyer APAM / MDOT HMA Pavement Bus Tour
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Asphalt Pavement Association of Michigan (APAM) are planning the 2011 Asphalt Pavement Bus Tour. This one day tour of various trunkline and non-trunkline Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavements is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13th, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is still room on the bus if you are interested in attending, please call the APAM office by July 8th. The APAM BBQ is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2011, immediately following the 2nd Annual APAM/MDOT HMA Bus Tour. We are trying a new location this year and are holding the BBQ at Bucks Run Golf Club located at 1559 South Chippewa Road, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan from 4:30 - 7:00 pm. Food, beverage and the opportunity for networking with your industry friends and associates will be offered. Please register to bwilson@apa-mi.org by July 8th if you would like to attend.
